Shimmering sequins, sheer, bold colours and ethnic wear with a twist dominated the fashion scene at the 20th Annual Life OK Screen Awards. Several celebrities opted for glamorous outfits created by renowned Indian designers and some took the bespoke route, while adding a few stand out elements like ear cuffs, chunky cocktail rings among others that drew a lot of attention. International designers had a strong presence too with the likes of Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh opting for luxury designer labels like Alexander McQueen and Christian Dior. Sari with a spin

Instead of following the ‘we have seen that before’ route, a few stylish ladies went a notch above, by scoring high on quirkyness in the ethnic department. Be it opting for peppy colours or unique cuts; these girls dared to be different. Kalki Koechlin’s eccentric Nikhil Thampi sari gown was one of the quirkiest take on a traditional attire that we got to see. Koechlin’s fusion desi pick had a mix of silk and lace and the colour combination of mustard and black blended well.
