The petition was dismissed as withdrawn by Justice B.Rajendran who said the prayer sought by the petitioner could not be entertained by the court as a writ petition.

The Central Board of Film Certification should have deleted such portions, the petitioner said. He had also sent a legal notice to the Board, asking them to delete such portions but there was no action, the petitioner said.

Meanwhile, the film is due for release on February 13 and hence the court should stay its release till the objectionable portions were removed, the petitioner submitted.
