Nargis out of Shaukeen remake

Nargis Fakhri has confirmed that she has opted out of the Shaukeen remake starring Akshay Kumar. Reports suggest that Shraddha Kapoor is in talks for the film. In the meanwhile, Fakhri will be busy shooting for a Hollywood project with director Paul Feig who has earlier made films like Bridesmaids.

Naseer in Dharam Sankat Mein

In a first, Naseeruddin Shah, Paresh Rawal and Annu Kapoor will be coming together for a satirical comedy, Dharam Sankat Mein. The film is an official adaptation of the 2010 British comedy, The Infidel, which is about a British Muslim who goes through an identity crisis.

Ayesha & Saiyami in Mirza Sahiba

Ayesha Kapur, who played the young Rani Mukerji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black and Tanvi Azmi’s niece, Saiyami Kher, will be seen in filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirza Sahiba. A love tragedy inspired from folk tales, the film will also introduce Anil Kapoor’s son, Harshwardhan.
