BTS member J-Hope recently started his military service and now, much to his fans’ delight, some of his photos from the military camp have emerged on social media. J-Hope is the second member of BTS, after Jin, to fulfill the mandatory military service.

One of the photos has J-Hope, in his military uniform, making a Korean heart with his fingers. Another photo shows off his haircut and looks like it is from their food hall. In the second photo, J-Hope is wearing a T-shirt of the Republic of Korea Army.

A few days ago, J-Hope had shared the photo of his new haircut on Instagram and shared a message in Korean which can be loosely translated as “I’ll have a good trip!.”

BTS announced their temporary hiatus last year which created a lot of unrest amongst their fans. Following the announcement, the band members have been releasing their solo projects. J-Hope, before his enlistment, released “On the street” in collaboration with J. Cole.

It is expected that the remaining members, Suga, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, will also be serving in the military before the band reconvenes.
