‘Calm Down’ singer Rema gets a grand welcome in Mumbai ahead of India tour, records fanfare in amazement. Watch
Singer Rema shared visuals of the 'huge' welcome he received after landing in India. The 'Calm Down' singer also shared a picture of himself wearing a turban.
Calm Down fame singer Rema will be performing in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Nigerian musician Rema, best known for his hit single “Calm Down,” is all set to entertain Indian audiences with concerts in three cities. The singer was spotted arriving in Mumbai on Tuesday, ahead of his Rema Calm Down India Tour.
The 23-year-old artist got a grand Maharashtrian style welcome at the airport. Paparazzi accounts have shared videos in which he can be seen in an uber-cool look, dressed in a green hooded jacket with jeans. Several fans had gathered to welcome him to India. Rema was seen recording the moment on his phone.

Rema took to Instagram stories to share the clips. His first post read, “Finally!” along with face holding back tears emoji and an Indian Flag emoji. He also added the location as the Mumbai airport. ‘The love is HUGE wow,” he wrote next.
The singer also shared a picture of himself wearing a turban, and wrote in another post, “Ok I need an Indian Name asap!”

The Rema Calm Down India Tour will take place in three cities in India. It will start in New Delhi on May 12th at JLN Stadium. His next event is in Mumbai on May 13 at NSCI Dome, and the tour will conclude in Hyderabad on May 14 at Prism.

As per reports, Rema will reportedly wear an ensemble created by renowned designer Manish Malhotra for his shows. “Calm Down,” also featuring Selena Gomez, has racked up nearly one billion combined views on Selena and Rema’s YouTube channels. India recently hosted the Backstreet Boys for two concerts, in Mumbai and New Delhi.
