Kerala State Film Awards 2024 winners list: Aadujeevitham wins big; Prithviraj, Urvashi, Beena Chandran take top honours  

The 54th Kerala State Film awards were announced today. Aadujeevitham was the big winner with 9 awards, including Best Director for Blessy and Best Actor for Prithviraj Sukumaran.

The prestigious Kerala State Film Awards for films submitted in 2023 were announced today. It was said that 160 films were considered for the various awards, and it was one of the mostly anticipated awards considering the big-ticket names in the nominations. Headed by Chairman Sudhir Mishra, the jury members include Alagappan N, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Sreevalsan J Menon, Priyanandan TR, C Ajoy, NS Madhavan, Ann Augustine.

Aadujeevitham was the big winner as it took home nine prizes, including nods for Best Actor (Prithviraj) and Best Director (Blessy). In fact, it was the third State award for both of them. Kaathal – The Core took home the Best Picture award, and also received a Special Jury award for Sudhi Kozhikode. Urvashi, who was terrific in Ullozhukku, shared the Best Actress award with Beena R Chandran, whose stellar performance in Thadavu won a lot of acclaim.
