Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya recreate scene from Premalu for Valentine’s Day. Watch

For this Valentine’s Day, celebrities have resorted to recreating romantic moments from films. Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi did an Insta Reel with dialogues from their upcoming film Thandel. On the other hand, Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim have recreated a humorous scene from their recent production, Premalu, featuring Naslen Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles.

Premalu, released on February 9th, received positive feedback from both audiences and critics. Directed by Girish AD, the film revolves around two college students in Hyderabad and is produced by Fahadh Faasil, Syam Pushkaran, and Dileesh Pothan under their banner Bhavana Studios.

The film is about a young boy named Sachin Santhosh (Naslen) trying his best to woo his love interest Renu (Mamitha), who doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. In a scene in the film, Renu bluntly asks Sachin to move on. When Sachin asks her why she didn’t add the cliche dialogue, “You’ll find someone better than me,” while turning him down, Renu says, “I highly doubt that you will (get someone better) because I know my worth.”

Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim shared a video on social media, re-enacting a scene from the movie, where Fahadh speaks Naslen’s lines and Nazriya speaks Mamitha’s lines. The clip concluded with the duo extending Valentine’s Day wishes to their fans.

Premalu, the third collaboration of Naslen and director Girish AD, also stars Sangeeth Prathap, Shyam Mohan M, Shameer Khan, and Mathew Thomas in a cameo.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Fahadh Faasil has Jithu Madhavan’s Aavesham, Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan, and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule in his kitty. On the other hand, Nazriya is part of Sudha Kongara’s upcoming film with Suriya, which is called Suriya 42.
