Brad Pitt taking tank lessons

Brad Pitt is mastering the mechanisms of the military machine for his role as an American soldier in <i>Fury</i>.

Actor Brad Pitt has been learning to drive a tank for his role in World War Two drama Fury.

The 49-year-old is mastering the mechanisms of the military machine for his role as an American soldier in the movie,reported Sun Online.

Tank training had been arranged by producers for Pitt and the other cast members so the battle scenes will be as realistic as possible on screen.

“These boot camps will involve hardcore physical exercise as well as advanced tank driving,” a source said.

Bosses got the idea for the tank training from Steven Spielberg who did the same thing when he shot his epic military movie Saving Private Ryan.

The lessons have been taking place in Wiltshire,South West England,and Germany. Pitt Brad stars in Fury with Shia LaBeouf and the movie is directed by David Ayer.

Shooting on the picture is due to begin in September this year,and a release date has been set for November 2014.
