‘Trishna’ has drained everything out of me: Freida Pinto
The 27-year-old actress plays the titular character in the film which is shot in Rajasthan.
Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto says she felt drained and exhausted after shooting the new movie ‘Trishna’ in rural India.
The 27-year-old actress,who plays the titular character and shot the film in Rajasthan,said the drama was a struggle to get through,reported Contactmusic.
Sometimes I feel that this film has drained everything out of me. I had nothing left.
When I shot ‘Slumdog Millionaire,’ I felt like I was shooting in my backyard. But when I was shooting in rural India,it felt like a different world. I learned a lot,I learned to milk a cow!, she said.
‘Trishna’,directed by Michael Winterbottom,is a modern-day adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s novel ‘Tess of the d’Urbervilles’.
