Leading lady Paula Patton and Brad Bird of the MI:4 cast will join Tom Cruise on his Mumbai visit.

He gave the films shooting schedule in Mumbai a miss,but Tom Cruise has kept two days of his Mission Impossible 4:Ghost Protocol promotions itinerary exclusively for Mumbai. The actor will be in the city for an exclusive,short pre-screening of the film. A source revealed that not only is he being joined by his wife Katie Holmes and daughter Suri,but actors Brad Bird and Paula Patton,from the films cast,will also join Cruise. Patton plays the leading lady opposite Cruise in the latest instalment of the popular franchise. The team will fly into Mumbai on December 2,after a promotional trip to South Korea.

Anil Kapoor who plays a businessman,Brij Nath,in MI:4 was introduced to Cruise when he attended the Academy Awards in 2009 for Slumdog Millionaire. The films shoot helped them bond further. Naturally then,Kapoor will play host to the international celebrities along with Viacom 18,which is handling the digital promotions of the film in India. The actors are scheduled to stay at Bandras Taj Lands End.

The film,which marks the actors return as secret agent Ethan Hunt,was shot in Dubai,Prague,Moscow,Mumbai and Vancouver. The screening on December 4 will be held at IMAX Wadala and will be attended by 1,500 fans from across the country. These fans will be chosen on the basis of various contests,which will be unveiled by Kapoor soon. A few fans may get a chance to interact with Cruise,following the 20-minute screening in the 3D format.

The trip,of course,will be incomplete without a party in the guests honour. And while there are plenty of contenders willing to play host,it is unlikely that Kapoor will miss that opportunity.

The actor,while here on his visit,is rumoured to have committed himself to unveiling BMWs new car,BMW i8,in India. The car has been extensively used in the film. On December 5,the entire cast will directly fly out to Dubai for the films premiere.
