The last date for application, which was earlier announced as December 30, 2025, was already extended by the GSHSEB once to January 6.
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Tuesday again extended the last date for filing the online application for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026 to January 16. However, this extension comes with a late fee of Rs 1,000 over the application fee of Rs 350, taking the total fee to Rs 1,350.
The last date for application, which was earlier announced as December 30, 2025, was already extended by the GSHSEB once to January 6.
With this, students aspiring admission in degree engineering and degree and diploma pharmacy courses will get more time to apply. GUJCET 2026 to be held on March 29,2026 is a mandatory entrance examination for candidates of Group A, B and AB of Class XII Science stream.
According to a press release issued by the GSHSEB on Tuesday, a detailed information booklet on the examination and instructions for filling the online application form are available on the board’s website gujcet.gseb.org. Candidates can apply online from the board’s official website http://www.gseb.org as well. The exam fee for GUJCET has been fixed at Rs 350. This fee can be paid online (credit card, debit card, net banking) through SBI Epay System or through the “SBI Branch Payment” option of SBI Epay at any SBI bank branch in the country.
