Actress Drew Barrymore desires to be accepted the way she is by her love.

The actress, who turned director with ‘Whip It’,believes that pretending to be someone else is exhausting,OK! Magazine reported.

“On the first date, don’t be yourself. Don’t sell them what you’re not really about – it’s exhausting! I’m never not myself… This is who I am. What you see is what you get.”

The 35-year-old actress is not bothered about growing old and wants to enjoy life.

“It’s the best time of my life – it’s not traumatic at all. I don’t think I’ve ever been happier. It’s like the older I get,the better I get. Gravity and wrinkles are fine with me. They’re a small price to pay for the new wisdom inside my head and my heart,” Barrymore said.
