Depp to star as lovelorn vampire in ‘Dark Shadows’

“I was obsessed with the character as a child. It triggered my earliest desire to become an actor,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

The 46-year-old actor further revealed he,along with director Tim Burton,intended to come out with at least three ‘Dark Shadows’ films.

The first instalment,based on the series that ran for 594 episodes over 14 years,is expected to hit the theatres next year.
