Amy heading back to Caribbean

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse is headed back to the Caribbean.

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse is headed back to the Caribbean where she will work on completing her third album.

The ‘Rehab’ singer, who spent more than six months on the island of St Lucia last year,is flying out to Jamaica later this month but has been warned by her record label not to treat the trip as a holiday,Sun online reported.

“She’ll fly out next week. She is really excited about going back because she loves the Caribbean so much,” a source told the newspaper.

“But she’s been told it’s not a party. She has to work,” the source added.

The 26-year-old singer previously took an extended break in St Lucia from December 2008 to July 2009 and enjoyed herself so much she even launched a residency bid to stay on the island permanently.

Winehouse, who was overcoming drug problems during her time on the island, had been asked to work on her much-delayed third album during her stay but recordings failed to materialise.

Concerns were raised about Winehouse’s drinking after guests at the luxury resort she was staying at complained about her rowdy behaviour.
