Vicky Kaushal says Katrina Kaif is the daughter his parents always wanted: ‘Humein beti mil gayi’

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are one of the most-loved Bollywood couples. The two had a dreamy wedding in December 2021, and since then, their lives have changed, but for good. Katrina is the daughter that Vicky’s parents, Sham and Veena Kaushal, always wanted.

During a recent interaction with Aaj Tak, Vicky revealed that he has not changed after marrying Katrina, but his life has definitely become ‘more lively’. He said, “There is a joy in life. And, like my parents always say, ‘Humein humesha se ek beti chahiye thi, humein vo beti mil gayi (We always wanted a daughter. So, we got a daughter).’ So, yes, it is a very good feeling to be married.”

Vicky, who often speaks highly of Katrina and is in awe of her intelligence and wisdom, added, “I always consider her to be my good luck. Now, I am 24×7 with my good luck. So, it’s a great feeling.”

Katrina Kaif does not have a problem with Vicky Kaushal’s female fans

Also, Vicky, who is quite popular among girls, has never faced any opposition from Katrina whenever a female fan expresses her love for him. The Uri star says his wife Katrina likes that her husband is loved by so many people and she wants this love to grow only.

He said, “She wants that love to grow. That love is different. The audiences’ love… we are working hard only to multiply that love.”

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif kept their relationship private before finally announcing it on the day of their wedding, December 9, 2021. For Vicky, the three days of his wedding festivities were the “happiest” three days of his life.

Vicky is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie The Great Indian Family, which is scheduled to hit theatres on September 22. Katrina, on the other hand, is all set to return to the silver screen with Salman Khan in the third installment of the Tiger franchise, Tiger 3. She also has Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi in the pipeline.
