Kajol and Twinkle Khanna have finally opened up about the controversy created by their show Two Much.

twinkle khanna and kajolKajol and Twinkle Khanna recently concluded their talk show.

Kajol and Twinkle Khanna turned hosts for their show Two Much and while the 8-episode run of the show has now ended, it was quite a wild ride for the hosts who ended up in quite a few controversies after that. The show recently had a bonus episode with cricketers Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma and this was shot after the original episodes had already begun streaming. In this episode too, as Kajol and Twinkle started to play the quirky round where the guests have to agree or disagree with their prompts, the two actors explained themselves with a disclaimer.

Kajol started by saying, “Now it’s time for our next segment, which has gotten us into a lot of trouble.” She said that here, “opinions don’t matter as much as lighthearted teasing.” Twinkle then added that they should have had a disclaimer from the first episode for this segment. “And there’s a disclaimer, which we should have had from the first episode, that nothing we say in this segment should be taken seriously. Please don’t follow any of our advice in this segment,” she said.

It is in this segment that the two actors have previously shared their controversial takes. In an earlier episode, with Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor as guests, Kajol and Twinkle said that for them, physical infidelity was “not a deal breaker.” As Karan said, “Physical infidelity is not a deal breaker,” Janhvi replied, “No, the deal is broken.” Twinkle added, “We’re in our 50s, she’s in her 20s, and she will get into this circle soon. She hasn’t seen the things we have seen. Raat gayi baat gayi (What’s happened, has happened).

Later, in another episode, Kajol said that marriages should have an expiry date, but here, Twinkle did not agree with her co-host. When asked, “Marriage should have an expiry date and a renewal option”, Kajol said, “I definitely think so. What says you will get married to the right person at the right time? So, you should have a renewal option. And if there’s an expiry date, then we don’t have to suffer for too long.”

Aside from the latest episode, the two actors from refrained from explaining their comments ever since their show aired.
