Fans of the original Son of Sardaar will surely remember the high-energy track “Po Po,” which stood out for its quirky choreography and fun expressions. Featuring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and a surprise cameo by Salman Khan, the song became a talking point thanks to its eccentric mouth movements and entertaining dance steps. Now, with Son of Sardaar 2 gearing up for release, the makers have dropped a reloaded version of “Po Po.” Once again, the entire cast joins in, led by Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur, who takes over as the film’s female lead. The new version brings back the same playful energy and oddball expressions, though notably, Salman is missing this time around.
The reimagined track features vocals by Guru Randhawa and music by Tanishk Bagchi, a composer known for his string of modern remixes of classic Bollywood songs. As with many Ajay Devgn dance numbers, the choreography has quickly grabbed attention online for its eccentric and meme-worthy moves. One user commented, “This is what we all needed, an energetic track from SOS2,” while another declared, “‘Po Po’ the masterpiece is back!” Some users even poked fun, with one remarking, “Ajay sir’s dance skills are getting better day by day.”
Son of Sardaar 2 song “Pehla Tu Duja Tu” also sparked social media buzz, primarily for its bizarre hand choreography performed by Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur. The song has become a viral trend, with fans making reels and memes replicating the finger-based dance moves. Addressing the response at the film’s trailer launch in Mumbai, both Mrunal and Ajay jokingly noted that the steps might look easy, but were actually quite difficult to perform. The trailer launch also became a moment of tribute. Actor Ravi Kishan, who plays the film’s antagonist, remembered late actor Mukul Dev, whose final on-screen appearance will be in this film. Mukul Dev passed away in May this year.
Son of Sardaar 2 also features Sanjay Mishra, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Sharat Saxena, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Kubbra Sait in key roles.
