Tabu says producers call Ajay Devgn when facing difficulties with her: ‘He is completely unconditional with me; we protect each other’

“There have been many instances when producers or filmmakers, with whom I have had some issues (during work), to save themselves, called up Ajay. They would ask him to talk to me saying I am not coming for shooting or promotions. Yet, I must acknowledge that, he never comes in the way of my decisions, for which I respect him a lot. Neither does he try to influence me. He will give you your space,” she added.

“It’s a very interesting relationship that I have with him. We are completely different from each other and that, I think, is what makes it interesting,” Tabu said, smiling. In their career spanning many decades, Tabu and Devgn have shared the screen multiple times. Vijaypath (1994), Haqeeqat (1995), Thakshak (1999), Drishyam (2015) and Bholaa (2023) are some of the films on which they worked together.
