Sushmita Sen resumes work after recovering from ‘major’ heart attack, dubs for web series Taali. See photos

Actor Sushmita Sen, who left her fans concerned earlier this month as she revealed surviving a ‘major’ heart attack, has returned to work. The actor was spotted by the paparazzi on Thursday outside a dubbing studio.

Sushmita made a public appearance on Thursday as she came out of a studio after dubbing for her upcoming web series, Taali. She was seen wearing a blue shirt and grey trousers which she paired with white slippers. She wore sunglasses and kept her overall look casual. She posed for the photographers before leaving.

Taali is based on the life of transgender activist Gauri Sawant and stars Sushmita in the lead role. Marathi filmmaker Ravi Jadhav has helmed the series.

Earlier this month, Sushmita shared a photo of herself with her father, revealing that she suffered a heart attack. She wrote in the caption, “I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart.’ Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action…will do so in another post! This post is just to keep you (my well-wishers & loved ones) informed of the good news …that all is well & I am ready for some life again!!!”

The actor later spoke about what happened in an Instagram live session. She said, “I survived a very big heart attack. It was very big. 95 percent blockage in the main artery. It was a phase and it passed. It doesn’t put fear in my heart.” The actor also thanked her doctor, who is the ICU head of Nanavati hospital, for saving her life more than once.

A few days back, Sushmita also got back to working out and shared a photo of herself working out. She captioned the picture, “Wheel of life…cleared by my cardiologist…stretching begins!!! What a feeling!!! This is my “Happy Holi” …how was yours?”
