Sudhanshu Pandey recalls Jackie Chan cleaning his shoes on film set, says Shah Rukh Khan is a simple person at heart: ‘Rajinikanth stands up….’

Sudhanshu also praised ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth, whom he worked with in Robot 2.0. He described Rajinikanth as exceptionally humble, noting how the superstar would stand up to greet anyone within a ten-foot radius and wouldn’t sit down until they did. “I worked with Rajinikanth sir in Robot 2. Internationally, he is considered a God-like figure. Despite attaining so much success and achieving so much in life, he is so down-to-earth” said Sudhanshu.

Talking about Shah Rukh Khan, the actor mentioned that he briefly met the superstar at Esha Deol’s wedding. “Shah Rukh Khan is a genuinely simple man at heart, despite his global stardom,” he added. He also praised Jackie Shroff for his humility. “Bollywood actors are not humble. There are only a handful of stars who are down-to-earth. Jackie Shroff is one of them. He is truly a dharti putra. The way he is raising awareness about nature and the environment goes on to prove that he is a son of the soil.”

Sudhanshu Pandey contrasted these experiences with the general attitude in Bollywood, suggesting that humility is rare among its stars, stating that pretence is prevalent in the industry. “Showbiz is a double-edged sword. With success one becomes arrogant and learning to not let success get to your heart is something we need to learn. It is showbiz and all of us pretend to be someone else even in real life. If we are in touch with our true selves, at our core, we are all simple human beings,” he said.
