The King has indeed arrived! Shah Rukh Khan, who is set to host the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) in Abu Dhabi this year, touched down on Yas Island on Thursday. Keeping his look casual yet stylish, the superstar sported a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and a black cap upon arrival.

The official Instagram handle of IIFA shared photos of Shah Rukh’s arrival, captioning it, “The. King. Has. Arrived! We can’t keep calm—the Badshah has made his grand entrance and looks absolutely dashing! The excitement is contagious as all eyes are on THE SHAH RUKH KHAN!”

Further adding to the fanfare, the award show’s team shared pictures of the beautiful decorations in Shah Rukh Khan’s room at the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island. A specially crafted cake adorned with posters of his iconic films welcomed him, alongside an array of exquisite goodies presented by the hotel staff as a gesture to welcome the superstar.

Shah Rukh Khan was spotted leaving Mumbai during the early hours of Thursday morning. A video captured him at the airport, where he was greeted by a sea of fans eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the superstar. In the footage, Shah Rukh is seen calmly navigating through the enthusiastic crowd, accompanied by his bodyguard and his manager, Pooja Dadlani.

Along with Shah Rukh Khan, filmmaker Karan Johar will host the award night. In a statement shared by the award show’s team, Shah Rukh expressed his excitement, saying, “IIFA is a celebration of Indian cinema that resonates across the globe and being a part of its journey over the years has been amazing. I look forward to bringing the energy, passion, and grandeur of IIFA to life once again, as we gear up for an unforgettable celebration of Indian cinema this September.”
