Shah Rukh Khan asks fans to ‘attack’ Siddharth Anand as he urges him to reveal the title of their film; director claps back saying ‘good things take time’

In just three days, Shah Rukh Khan will turn 60. Fans are eagerly waiting for a big surprise on his birthday: the much-anticipated title reveal of his upcoming film, directed by Siddharth Anand. Ahead of the big day, Shah Rukh took to X (formerly Twitter) for another fun-filled #AskSRK session, where he answered questions from fans with his usual wit and charm. Amid the banter, he also exchanged some playful tweets with Siddharth, who has been teasing fans with mysterious posts throughout the month.

Yesterday, Siddharth had tweeted “Remember,” and today he followed it up with “There is.” Naturally, fans were left guessing what these cryptic messages meant. During the session, SRK decided to poke fun at him, tweeting: “kuch dikha na finally! Fans aur main dono tired ho gaye hain guessing game khelte khelte… aap ‘Remember’…’There is.. ‘…bol bolke kya tease kar rahe ho? (Show us something finally! The fans and I are both tired of playing this guessing game. What are you teasing us with by saying ‘Remember’…‘There is…’ again and again?)”

Siddharth quickly replied: “Hahaha. Sir… ‘Remember’ – Good things take time. ‘There is’ – work still going on for the Title Reveal of our film. #KING.” The fun didn’t stop there.

When a fan asked Shah Rukh Khan, “Sir, aapki agli film ke liye super excited hain! Koi ek word hint dijiye ki next character kaisa hoga? Love you! (Sir, we’re super excited for your next film! Please give us one-word hint about what your next character will be like. Love you!),” Shah Rukh tagged Siddharth and tweeted: “Hmmmm??? @justSidAnand sun rahe ho bhai. Bol doon…?”

To this, Siddharth replied with another cryptic line: “@iamsrk you know what they say sir, a King arrives when he wants to, not when he’s supposed to. #KING.” SRK, in his trademark style, responded: “You have become more and more like me. Giving cryptic answers to straight forward questions. Theek hai Boss, as and when…whatever….and whenever u want to. Fans!!! Go after him….Humla!!! At least the Title Reveal….just that much please.”

Another fan asked Shah Rukh Khan about Rani Mukerji and their possible collaboration in King, along with his favourite Rani movie. He replied warmly: “I love Rani with or without films…period!” Fans also asked if he would ever do a full-fledged film with his son Aryan Khan, who recently made his directorial debut with Netflix’s The Ba***ds of Bollywood. SRK replied cheekily: “If he can afford me!!! And my tantrums.”

When a fan asked which character from Aryan’s show he relates to most, SRK dropped a hint about his cameo, saying: “Ghante ka Badshah obviously!!!” And about his favourite scene, he added: “The ending so unexpected!!!” When asked about Kannada superstar Yash, SRK replied affectionately: “My love to Yash he is toooo sweet.”

A fan also expressed excitement about seeing him reunite with Deepika Padukone, to which SRK responded: “Me tooo ha ha.” And when someone asked about Salman Khan, SRK simply said: “Best bhai. Love him.”

Meanwhile, as part of SRK’s birthday weekend celebrations, PVR-Inox will be re-releasing some of his classic films such as Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Dil Se, Main Hoon Na, and Om Shanti Om, among others.

Judging by the friendly banter between Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand, fans can be almost certain that the long-awaited title reveal of their film is right around the corner. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.
