Shabana Azmi shares old video of Boney Kapoor dancing to Shammi Kapoor song, Farah Khan gives her approval

In the video, the song ‘Mere Yaar Shabba Khair’ is playing on a screen, and Shabana and Boney are trying to imitate the Shammi and Saira’s dance steps. In the background, Farah Khan praises the filmmaker, “Boney, damn good yaar.” Shabana also cheers for him, “Kya baat hai Boney ji.” Later in the video, Kiran Rao also joined the veteran stars on the dance floor.

Sharing the video, Shabana wrote on Instagram, “Not to miss out #Boney Kapoor at the same 70s party on Javed’s birthday doing mere yaar shabba khair ..” As the video caught the attention of Bollywood buffs, they showered it with love and praise. One of the comments on Shabana’s post read, “This is pure! Unfiltered, unadulterated bollywood!” Another comment read, “This party was soooo much fun ❤️!” One of the Instagram users praised the filmmaker for his dance moves, “Boney Sir Ji Very Nice Dance 👍” A user also wrote, “Delight to watch ❤️❤️❤️.”

In another post, Shabana Azmi shared a collage of photos from husband Javed Akhtar’s 75th birthday party and wrote along with it, “This was for Javeds 75th birthday vintage party at janki Kutir.” The party was attended by Aamir Khan, Swara Bhasker, Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar, Zoya Akhtar, and Farah Khan, among others.
