Saif Ali Khan is ‘out of danger and recovering’ after suffering brutal attack at his Mumbai home, confirms actor’s team

The incident unfolded when an intruder broke into Saif Ali Khan’s Bandra residence around 2:30 am. All family members, including Saif’s wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and their children, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan, were present in the house at the time. According to Crime Branch officials, the intruder gained access to the house through the maid quarters located at the back of the property.

The situation escalated when the nanny raised an alarm, prompting Saif to confront the burglar directly in an effort to protect his family. In the ensuing scuffle, the thief attacked Saif with a knife, stabbing him six times. The injuries included two deep cuts, primarily on his back, with one dangerously close to his spine. Despite the serious nature of the attack, the intruder was overpowered and was locked in the children’s room.

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor’s team also released a statement to reassure the public about the family’s safety. The statement read, “There was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in the hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine.
