However, his wife Latha has reassured them by providing an update on his health. The Jailer actor was taken to the hospital after experiencing stomach pain. It has been confirmed that the actor will undergo an elective procedure, scheduled for Tuesday.
Speaking to News 18 about Rajinikanth’s condition, Latha said, “All is well.” Following this update, the actor’s fans and supporters flooded social media with their well-wishes and prayers for his speedy recovery. One fan expressed their love by tweeting, “You are our greatest and priceless treasure, thalaiva @rajinikanth ♥️♥️♥️ Come back stronger than ever before 🙏🏼.” Another wrote, “Looks like nothing serious, yes! It’s for an elective procedure… Wishing everything goes well 👍.” A third fan added, “Get well soon @rajinikanth sir… Praying for your speedy recovery… God bless 🙏🏻.”
This isn’t the first time Rajinikanth has faced a health scare. In December 2020, after he announced his political party, the actor encountered similar health issues, forcing him to abandon his political plans.
On the professional front, Rajinikanth is currently shooting for Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He also has the highly anticipated Vettaiyan in the pipeline. The actor was recently seen at the film’s audio launch, where he even showed off his dance moves at the event. Vettaiyan boasts a star-studded cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and Manju Warrier in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit theatres on October 10.
