Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan race to help pregnant Deepika Padukone as she walks down from stage, Baahubali star wins. Watch

Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone looked stunning as she made a grand entry at the pre-release event for Kalki 2898 AD in Mumbai. A viral clip from the event shows lead actor Prabhas and veteran star Amitabh Bachchan rushing to help Deepika off the stage. However, Prabhas caught her hand first, prompting Big B to tease him for beating him to it, resulting in a hilarious moment.

After a brief introduction of her character played at the event, Deepika made her entry on stage. She spoke about working with director Nag Ashwin, describing it as a great learning experience. “It has been an incredible experience. Like Mr Bachchan said, it is a completely new world. We went through different phases of discovering what this movie was about, but I think the magic that is in Nagi’s head is now finally here for everyone to see. We have discovered that along the way. It has been an incredible experience both personally and professionally,” Deepika said.

After her speech, when Deepika was about to get off the stage, both Prabhas and Amitabh rushed to help her. However, Prabhas beat Big B to it, holding Deepika’s hand and helping her down the stage comfortably. Big B, just behind Prabhas, chided him for the same, leading the actors and the audience to share a laugh.
