Global icon Priyanka Chopra returned to India from New York to attend an event hosted by the Bvlgari. Soon after, she was seen embracing tradition as she visited the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai.

Priyanka was warmly welcomed at the pandal by filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, who greeted her personally at her car and accompanied her inside. Inside the pandal, she met actress Kajol’s sister Tanishaa Mukerji, and the trio posed for photos together.

The annual Durga Puja celebrations hosted by the Mukerji family have long been a gathering point for Bollywood’s finest.

This year, several notable personalities have visited the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal. Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan attended the festivities, as did actor-turned-author Twinkle Khanna, who is currently co-hosting a talk show with Kajol. Actor Ranbir Kapoor, a close friend of Ayan Mukerji, also made time to join the celebrations.

On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in the action-comedy Heads of State, alongside Hollywood stars Idris Elba and John Cena. She is currently working on The Bluff, where she portrays a 19th-century Caribbean pirate, and is also set to return in the second season of Citadel. Additionally, she is part of director S.S. Rajamouli’s much-anticipated globe trotting actioner, which stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
