T-Series has landed in another plagiarism controversy following accusations by musician Nilanjana Ghosh Dastidar that the music giant and music director duo Sachet-Parampara plagiarised her husband Rajarshi Mitter’s track in “Maiyya” from the Netflix release “Do Patti”, starring Kriti Sanon and Kajol.

This is not the first time T-Series has faced allegations of plagiarism. The company has been involved in several copyright infringement controversies in the past. Recently, Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui slammed T-Series for allegedly plagiarising the song “Akhiyaan De Kol” from the same movie, Do Patti. Siddiqui claimed that the song bore a resemblance to a Pakistani folk song.

T-Series has previously faced allegations of plagiarism for songs such as “Genda Phool”, which was accused of copying the Bengali folk song “Boroloker Bitilo”, and “O Saathi”, which faced allegations of copying the Pakistani song by Atif Aslam. Additionally, composer Akarsh Sharma accused T-Series of plagiarising his song “Humsafar” in 2017, and Pakistani singer Mustafa Zahid claimed that T-Series’ song “Tum Hi Ho” from Aashiqui 2 was copied from his own song in 2013.
