Celebrity couple Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Misra welcomed their daughter in October last year, and as the baby turned three months old, they took to social media to reveal their baby’s name. The couple also shared its meaning.

The fashion designer and actor duo has named their first born, Matara. Masaba shared a beautiful glimpse of her little princess hand and also flaunted a bracelet that Masaba wore with the three-month-old daughter’s name on it.

While revealing her daughter’s name, Masaba wrote, “3 months with my Matara 🌷The name embodies the divine feminine energies of 9 Hindu goddesses, celebrating their strength and wisdom. Also, the star of our eyes 💫.”

Masaba Gupta’s actor husband Satyadeep Misra re-shared the post on his Instagram story and wrote the name in Hindi. Masaba also shared the name’s meaning and pronunciation on her Instagram story.

Shilpa Shetty reacted to the name in the comment section with red heart emoji and evil eye emojis. Mom-to-be Athiya Shetty also showered her love. Reacting to the photo, a fan wrote, “I love the Name … I love the bangle I’m going to copy the idea,” while another posted, “Gorgeous mama, gorgeous baby ❤️.” “What a beautiful name❤️,” “Woww beautiful name ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” wrore more fans.

Last month, Masaba Gupta shared a video where her actor-mother Neena Gupta was seen interacting with the little baby. In the clip, Neena Gupta asking her granddaughter, “Tu bhi OTP diya karegi jab badi ho jayegi, Haan, OTP degi? (You will also give me OTPs once you grow up, right?).” Masaba captioned the video, “Neenaji asking the real tough question – can you give me OTP? @neena_gupta.”

After the baby was born, Neena had shared a photo with the caption, “Meri beti ki beti – Rab rakha.”

Masaba and Satyadeep Misra got married in January 2023. In April 2024, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child.
