Kangana Ranaut declares assets worth Rs 91 cr as she files nomination; 6.7 kgs of gold worth Rs 5 cr, debt of Rs 17 cr

Kangana Ranaut declared her assets in an affidavit as she filed her nomination papers for Lok Sabha elections.

Actor Kangana Ranaut, who is contesting as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from the Mandi seat in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, filed her nomination papers on Tuesday. As per Kangana’s election affidavit, the actor has assets over Rs 91.5 crore with Rs 28.7 crore in movable assets and Rs 62.9 crore in immovable assets.

The affidavit states that Kangana has gold jewellery of 6.7 kgs, which is worth approximately Rs 5 crore. The actor also owns 60 kgs of silver, in the form of utensils and jewellery, which is worth Rs 50 lakh, and also diamond jewellery worth Rs 3 crore. The Queen actor has three luxury cars which includes a BMW worth Rs 98 lakh, a Mercedes Benz worth Rs 58 lakh and a Mercedes Maybach worth Rs 3.91 crore. She also owns a Vespa scooter worth Rs 53,000. As per the affidavit, she has Rs 2 lakh cash and a bank balance of Rs 1.35 crore, and she also has debt of Rs 17 crore.

Kangana Ranaut also owns a few properties all over the country and these include four commercial units in Chandigarh, a commercial property in Mumbai and a commercial building in Manali. Kangana owns three flats in Mumbai worth Rs 16 crore and a bungalow in Manali, which is worth Rs 15 crore. The actor claimed that her income for the financial year 2022-23 was Rs 4 crore but the year before that, she made Rs 12.3 crore.

Kangana also has 50 LIC policies in her name and eight criminal cases against her. The actor also declared that she finished her 12th standard from a private school in Chandigarh, which is her highest education.

Kangana Ranaut filed her nomination papers on Tuesday and shared a post on social media for the same. She wrote, “I am overwhelmed by the love and trust of the people of Mandi Lok Sabha constituency. I am grateful to the respected Prime Minister Mr @narendramodi ji, the Honorable National President Mr @JPNadda ji, the Honorable Home Minister Mr @AmitShah ji, the Leader of the Opposition Mr @jairamthakurbjp ji, the State President Mr @rajeevbindal ji and all the dignitaries of the party for giving me the opportunity to serve the people of Mandi. I have full faith that the country will once again get a historic mandate to make Modi ji the Prime Minister.
