Jolly LLB 3 Box Office Collection Prediction Day 1: The world created by the first two Jolly LLB instalments will be crashing into each other on September 19 (Friday), and predictions regarding Jolly LLB 3’s opening day numbers are here. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Akshay Kumar-Arshad Warsi starrer is going to earn Rs 2.2 crore (Rs 4.9 crore with block seats included). This is definitely not the start that the creators of the film would want, but good films have a tendency to overcome opening day blues and generate buzz around them.

The Subhash Kapoor directorial has sold 81,574 seats across the country and will be screened at 9,762 shows starting tomorrow. The massive amount of shows will prove to be a problem for the distributors if the film cannot improve its current 8.3 tickets sold per show average. For instance, Baaghi 4 starring Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt and Sonam Bajwa had around 4000 shows on its opening day. That number came down to just 2,800 shows within a week because of poor reviews. Which means a franchise film of the action genre can fall victim to poor reviews within a few days and start bleeding shows. Jolly LLB 3 has a similar time frame, within which it needs to impress the audience or risk losing its footing.

The previous two films did quite well considering the budget they were made on. The first instalment with Arshad and Boman Irani made almost thrice the humble Rs 12 crore budget, and the second film with Akshay and Anu Kapoor crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. While none of these films had behemoth earnings, they did well, and the first instalment received a lot of critical applause as well. Because of their success, a third film makes sense, but the tickets have not even crossed the six-figure mark yet. More than 50% of the collection has come from block seats, which is a concerning figure for anyone involved with the project.

If the movie doesn’t receive positive reviews, the creators are likely to use methods such as slashing the price of the tickets or BOGO. The creators of Baaghi 4 applied the same tactics to boost their sales, but its effectiveness could be argued.

Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film features Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao, Gajraj Rao, Seema Biswas, and Sushil Pandey.
