Lately, audio launches have become the place for Tamil stars to connect with their fans. Fans look forward to such pre-release events as they get to finally hear their stars speak at length, as the actors are otherwise inaccessible. Rajinikanth's speech at the Jailer audio launch, and Vijay's from many such pre-release events are still viral among their fans. Now, Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan is also following the trend. Intriguingly, the actor will be having a grand pre-release event for Jawan not in Mumbai but in Chennai. Earlier, it was rumoured that the Jawan event is set to happen in Chennai. Now, Shah Rukh has confirmed that the grand event will take place in a popular college on the outskirts of the city. Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter and wrote, "Vanakkam Chennai, I am coming!!! All the Jawans - girls & boys at Sai Ram Engineering College be ready. I am excited to meet you all! Might even do some tha tha thaiya if asked. See you tomorrow 3PM onwards." Look like director Atlee, who is making his debut in Hindi with Jawan, is making sure that the film has the same hype here as a Tamil star vehicle. Vanakkam Chennai, I am coming!!! Anirudh Ravichander, the music composer of Jawan, will also be in attendance along with Vijay Sethupathi and other cast members of the film. It was speculated that Vijay will be attending the audio launch as the chief guest, but according to reports, the Tamil superstar will not be attending the launch due to prior commitments. There's also a rumour that Vijay will make a cameo appearance in Jawan. The audio launch of Jawan will take place on Wednesday evening with a limited audience.
