Ileana D’Cruz announces she’s pregnant with Baby No 1: ‘Can’t wait to meet you my little darling’

Actor Ileana D'Cruz took to social media to announce that she is pregnant with her first child.

Actor Ileana D’Cruz announced that she is pregnant with her first child on Tuesday. Taking to Instagram, she posted, “Coming soon ✨ Can’t wait to meet you my little darling.” She included two photos in her post; the first was of a onesie, and the second was of a pendant with the word ‘mama’ written on it.

“And so the adventure begins,” read the words on the onesie. Ileana’s friends and followers showered her with love and blessings in the comments section. Ileana’s mother, Samira D’Cruz commented, “Welcome soon to the world my new grand baby, can’t wait,” and added a red heart and dancing emoji. Several others congratulated her. “Wow, congratulations. All the best,” wrote a fan. “Congratulations darling,” wrote another.

Ileana didn’t name the baby’s father. The actor was previously in a relationship with Australian photographer Andrew Kneebone, but they were said to have broken up in 2019. Most recently, she was rumoured to be dating Katrina Kaif’s brother, Sebastian. She accompanied Katrina on her birthday trip to the Maldives last year. In an appearance on Koffee with Karan later in 2022, Katrina was asked about Ileana’s connection to her family. Karan said, “On a Maldives trip some images came out and I was doing the math in my head. I said ‘okay I saw these two meet for the first time in front of me at a party’ and I’m like ‘that moved fast as well’.”

Ileana works predominantly in the Telugu and Hindi language film industries. She made her acting debut in 2006, with the film Devadasu. She is best known for her roles in Barfi! and Rustom. Up next, she’ll be seen in the film Unfair & Lovely.
