Drishyam 3 Hindi Teaser and Release Date: Over a fortnight after the shoot for Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam 3 wrapped up, a new announcement has arrived, revealing that the Hindi version of the crime thriller is now in motion. On Monday, December 22, the makers of the movie released a short video, unveiling the film’s release date.

The 73-second promo begins with Vijay Salgaonkar’s (Ajay Devgn) voiceover, where he can be heard saying, “The world calls me by many names — criminal, murderer, farebi (deceitful), makkar (cunning), fraud, shaatir (cunning), hero, innocent, father, and mastermind. But it doesn’t matter to me. Because I understood one thing from whatever happened, whatever I did, saw, or showed in the past seven years: In this world, every person’s truth is different, as are their rights. My truth and right are my family. As long as things don’t stop, as long as others don’t fail, I will stand here, like a chowkidar (gatekeeper) and a wall.”

Vijay further maintains that the story is not over yet and that the final chapter remains, as the teaser announces that the game is set to resume. With Abhishek Pathak returning as the director, the makers have revealed that the shooting for the Hindi edition of Drishyam 3 is progressing at full swing and that the movie will hit the screens on October 2, 2026, aligning with Vijay and his family’s iconic alibi. According to a statement issued by the film’s team, the production includes an extensive schedule across multiple cities and locations. Drishyam 3 is planned with an even bigger and more intense canvas and scale.

Stating that the latest instalment in the franchise will revolve around a completely new and unexpected twist that has occurred in the lives of the Salgaonkars, the makers sign off by posing the million-dollar question: “Will the simple family be able to outwit the system once more, or will life bring a future that they cannot envisage?” Also starring Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Rajat Kapoor, among others, Drishyam 3 is written by Abhishek Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan, and Parveez Shaikh, based on a story by Jeethu Joseph.
