Late wrestler-actor Dara Singh’s wife Surjit Kaur Randhawa is no more. Surjiit, 72 breathed her last today morning. She was battling cancer for the past nine years.

Said a source, “She was a strong lady just like her husband. She never let cancer dim her mood and offered a spirited fight for nine years even after her husband passed away in 2012.”

Surjit was Dara Singh’s second wife and mother of actor Vindu.

Her last rites would be performed at a crematorium in Juhu, Mumbai at 6 PM today.

The 83-year-old wrestler-actor had passed away in 2012 following a cardiac arrest.
