Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 vs Singham Again box office: The Diwali box office face-off between two franchise films is gearing up with full intensity, even as last-minute tussle goes on by the makers and distributors to give the best possible showcasing to their respective films- Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again. Limited advance bookings of both the films have opened in select properties across India. Both the films, as of now, will hit the screens on November 1. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has 1790 shows so far and has sold 28,454 tickets. The total gross amount as of now is around Rs 72 lakh, as per Sacnilk. Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, which opened its advance booking on Monday evening on select screens has only 403 shows so far and has sold 2,293 tickets. The gross sales stand at Rs 7.7 lakh. The advance booking opened only on select PVR-INOX properties as well as some independent screens, whereas the Kartik Aaryan-led horror comedy opened on select independent single screens. According to Pinkvilla, the showcasing of both the films will be split, with Singham Again taking 56 percent of the total showcasing and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 standing at 46 percent. The clash has also affected the advance booking sales as exhibitors and distributors are still striking deals for the number of shows and screens for each film. With two more days to go before the biggies arrive this Friday, the makers would hope to resolve the crisis by Thursday, before the films open wide globally. All the showcasing, however, will change once the word-of-mouth kicks-in on Friday, in which case, the better received film between the two will get the benefit of more shows and screens. Singham Again is headlined by Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor, with a host of special appearances by actors like Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Aneez Bazmee, also stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri.
