‘Annoyed’ Hema Malini refuses to pose at event, says ‘Selfie lene thode aaye hain’. Watch
Hema Malini was a little annoyed with those who asked her for a selfie.

Veteran actor Hema Malini recently attended the launch of Gulzar’s authorised biography ‘Gulzar Saab: Hazar Rahein Mud Ke Dekhin’ in Mumbai and while she was at the event, she looked a little unhappy with the fans who were asking her for a selfie. Hema was heard saying in one of the videos from the event, “Selfie lene ke liye thode aaye hain (We’re not here to take selfies.)”
Hema was one of the many guests at the event which was also attended by filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj and veteran writer Gulzar. Written by Yatindra Mishra, the book discusses Gulzar’s films, songs, stories, poems and his other literary works.

Some of the fans were upset with this when they saw the video on social media. One of them wrote in the comments section, “That’s rude.” Another person compared her to Jaya Bachchan, who is often seen getting upset with the paparazzi in Mumbai.
Hema Malini recently turned 75 and celebrated her birthday with a big party. Her husband Dharmendra attended the event along with other yesteryear superstars like Jeetendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Padmini Kolhapure, among many others.
She was also present for Dharmendra’s 88th birthday in December and shared a sweet note on social media to mark the occasion. “Wishing my dearest life partner of many years, a very happy, healthy and joyful birthday. 🙏 May you have all the love your heart can hold, all the happiness a day can bring, and all the blessings a life can unfold. I just want to say: I hope you can see how special you are to me. Happy birthday to my love!. @aapkadharam” she wrote.
Hema was last seen in the 2020 film Shimla Mirchi.
