Ernakulam-Bangalore Vande Bharat train begins inaugural run – check stoppages, timings

Ernakulam to Bangalore train, Ernakulam-Bangalore Vande Bharat: The much-awaited Ernakulam to Bangalore Vande Bharat train  has commenced its inaugural run. This will be the third such train for Kerala. This new semi-high-speed train will be maintained and operated by the Southern Railway (SR) zone.

Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express Inaugural Special

On Saturday, this Vande Bharat train between Ernakulam and KSR Bengaluru will run as Inaugural special. This new orange and grey coloured train will further reduce travel time, enhance regional mobility and promote tourism and trades in the region.

Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express Inaugural Run: Train number, Distance, Travel Time

On its inaugural run day, the Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will run as train number 06652. It will cover the entire distance in around 10 hours. However, during commercial run, the train will cover the same distance in less than nine hours.

Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Inaugural Special: Stoppages

During its inaugural run, train number 06652 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat will stop at seven stations. These are: Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem and Krishnarajapuram.

On its inaugural run, the Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will depart from Ernakulam at 08:00 hrs. The train will arrive KSR Bengaluru at 17:50 hrs.

Ernakulam-Bangalore Vande Bharat train trial run

Earlier on Friday, Southern Railway zone has completed the trial run of Ernakulam to Bangalore Vande Bharat train. During its commercial run, train number 26651 Bangalore-Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 05:10 hrs to reach Ernakulam at 13:50 hrs. In its return journey, train number 26652 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will leave Ernakulam at 14:20 hrs to reach KSR Bengaluru at 23:00 hrs.
