Animal box office collection Day 8 early report: Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the Ranbir Kapoo-starrer has collected more than Rs 560 crore worldwide.

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is slowing losing steam at the box-office. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial recorded a drop on Friday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Animal has collected Rs 15.93 crore (as of 8 pm) on Friday. The total collection of the film in India now stands at Rs 353.51 crore.

Animal passed the crucial Monday test, minting Rs 43.96 crore. Since Monday, the film has been on a downward spiral, earning Rs 37.47 crore on Tuesday, Rs 30.39 crore on Wednesday and Rs 24.23 crore on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Ranbir’s movie has become the second-fastest film to gross Rs 300 crore. Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, holds the top spot by crossing the Rs 300 crore mark in just 5 days. Animal shares the second-place position with Pathaan, which also took six days to reach the Rs 300 crore mark.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on X, “Animal is SENSATIONAL… Packs an EXTRAORDINARY TOTAL in Week 1…Third biggest *7 days* of all time. Biggest *7-day* total for a film released on non-holiday. Biggest *7-day* total for a film that faced a clash with another film. Highest grossing ‘A’ certified film.”

Despite mixed reviews, Animal has collected a staggering Rs 563 crore worldwide. The film also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra and Suresh Oberoi in pivotal roles.
