Amitabh Bachchan shares experience of working with Jaya Bachchan in new ad, shares pic: ‘Wife and the husband together on set’

Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog at 4 am and shared a photo with his wife Jaya Bachchan from the shoot of an ad commercial.

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were one of the most sought after on-screen couples when they first started working together in the 1970s. Even in their later years, they have appeared together in films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and are frequently seen together in ad commercials. Recently, Amitabh and Jaya shot for an ad together and on Thursday, the 80-year-old actor shared the experience of working with his wife on his blog.

“…And before that the Wife and the Husband together on set .. for an Ad., and the camaraderie and ingenuity and the commonest of practices when the lighting and the shot construct is taking place…” he wrote. He also shared a photo from the set.

On Wednesday evening, Amitabh had shared a reel on Instagram where he was on the set with Jaya and making a reel in slow motion. As he moved the camera, Jaya smiled which pleased their fans. He captioned the video, “… at work …” Their daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda called them “cute” in the comments section. Their granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda called them “the cutest.”

Amitabh Bachchan hasn’t had any major releases in 2023. He was seen in a cameo in son Abhishek Bachchan’s Ghoomer, which was directed R Balki. He is looking forward to the release of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon starrer Ganapath later this year. In 2024, he will be seen in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD, which also stars Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.

Currently, the star is hosting the 15th season of the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Bachchan has been associated with the show since 2000 and has been a part of 14 seasons of the show so far.
