Akshay Kumar reveals how he overcame 2-3 breakups before marrying Twinkle Khanna: ‘There was so much anger’

He added, “I got into working out more. Khana bhi daba ke khana tha (I would eat a lot). I think that is a way a martial artist would deal with a break-up. I believe that is the only way we understand it (heartbreak).”

Akshay was previously linked with actors like Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty and Pooja Batra. He even got engaged to Raveena in the late 90s but their relationship didn’t last.

In a previous interview with ANI, Raveena candidly discussed her past relationship with Akshay. the Patna Shuklla actor clarified that after she had moved on from their relationship, both she and Akshay were already involved with other people, diminishing any cause for jealousy. She said, “We were a hit pair, during Mohra, and even now, when we bump into each other socially, we all meet, we all chat. Everyone moves on. Girls have been changing their boyfriends every week in colleges, but one engagement that has broken is still stuck in my head, I don’t know why. Everyone moves on, people have divorces, they move on, what’s the big deal?”

On the work front, Akshay is awaiting the release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The film also stars Tiger shroff in the lead role. He also has Welcome To The Jungle, Singham Again, Sarfira and Hera Pheri 3 in the pipeline.
