Aishwarya Rai crops Jaya Bachchan, Navya Naveli out of photo while wishing Amitabh Bachchan on birthday, internet reacts

Aishwarya wished the screen icon–who turned 81 on Wednesday– by taking to Instagram and writing, “❤️always💝🧿God Blesssss✨”. But the internet was quick to notice that the picture Aishwarya posted was a cropped one. The original image was shared by Navya Naveli Nanda, and it featured the entire family.

The internet was quick to join the dots and come up with its own conspiracy theories after Aishwarya’s move. A reddit post joked that this was Aishwarya “using uno reverse card to Paris fiasco”.

Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan had attended the Paris Fashion Week, where Navya Naveli and Aishwarya had walked the ramp. A section of the internet claimed that Jaya Bachchan and Shweta didn’t tag and congratulate Aishwarya but were there to cheer Navya for the same.

Users on Reddit, however, also dug out old posts of Aishwarya Rai wishing Amitabh Bachchan on his birthday and there was a consistent pattern– every post had a picture featuring Amitabh and Aaradhya, leading many to believe that this year’s post was not malicious but merely followed what Aishwarya had been doing for years.

On the work front, Aishwarya Rai was last seen in filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s two-part epic Ponniyin Selvan, while Jaya Bachchan starred in Karan Johar’s Rocky Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
