Abhishek Bachchan reveals Bachchan family dinner table routine on KBC 16, Amitabh Bachchan says, ‘Galti kardi’
In the latest promo of Amitabh Bachchan's KBC 16, Abhishek Bachchan shared his plans for the Rs 7 crore prize money if he wins on the show.

The upcoming episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 will feature Amitabh Bachchan’s son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, in the hot seat, bringing a dose of humour to the show. Abhishek will appear alongside filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, the director of his next film I Want To Talk, and author Arjun Sen. The makers have released a new promo teasing the episode, which highlights Abhishek’s wit and his playful take on what he would do if he won the Rs 7 crore prize money on the show.
Sharing a delightful anecdote from their family routine, Abhishek revealed a unique dinner table tradition. “At the dinner table, if someone asks a question and another person answers it correctly, the entire family shouts together, ‘Saat crore!’” He humorously declared that he wouldn’t leave the game show until he secured the Rs 7 crore prize money. Responding to this, Amitabh quipped, “Bahut badi galti karde inko yaha bulaake (It was a huge mistake calling him on the show).”

When asked about his plans for the prize money, Abhishek gave a lighthearted response that left everyone in splits. “If we win the Rs 7 crore prize money, then I’m declaring that there won’t be any shoot for the next two days. We’re all heading to Goa for a holiday!” Author Arjun Sen, on the other hand, revealed that he would play for the Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA), and director Shoojit Sircar expressed his desire to support Manali Strays, an NGO dedicated to aiding stray dogs if they win a good amount on the show.
Abhishek was last seen on the big screen in R. Balki’s Ghoomer. His next project, I Want To Talk, directed by Shoojit Sircar, will delve into the extraordinary journey of his character, who overcomes challenges with a unique perspective on life. This marks Abhishek’s first collaboration with Shoojit Sircar. The filmmaker has delivered some of his career’s most iconic films, including Piku and Pink, with Amitabh Bachchan.
