WBJEE Result 2023 Declared: Success rate improves, Kolkata boys secure top 2 ranks
WBJEE Exam Result 2023 Declared: The score cards were released today at 4 pm. The Board recently released the answer key and students were given time to challenge the answer key till May 20.

WBJEE Result 2023 OUT at wbjeeb.nic.in: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) results today declared the results for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. Students who appeared for the exam can check the results at the official website — wbjeeb.nic.in.
Md Sahil Akhtar and Soham Das both from Kolkata secured first and second rank respectively. Third rank was secured by Sara Mukherjee of Durgapur.
State Education Bratya Basu announced that the success rate this year is 99.4 per cent, which is an increase from last year’s 98.5 per cent.

This time, a total of 97,524 candidates appeared for the entrance exam. The results have now been declared and the result link has been activated at 4 pm. The Board recently released the answer key and students were given time to challenge the answer key till May 20. Nearly 98,000 students appeared for the exam.

The state Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, also took to Twitter to congratulate students, and also revealed that this time 27.5 per cent of the successful candidates are women. “I am extremely happy that 53 per cent of total successful candidates are from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education,” she added.

WBJEE is an entrance exam for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture of various universities, colleges in the state. The exam was conducted on April 30 this time.
