UP Board Result 2025: UPMSP starts evaluation for Class 10th, 12th exams; results by April end

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has initiated the online evaluation process for the 2025 UP Board exams. Over 1,34,723 examiners will assess nearly 3 crore answer sheets within 15 days.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) on March 19, has begun the online evaluation process of the UP Board class 10 and 12 exams 2024-25. As many as 1,34,723 examiners have been assigned to assess nearly three crore answer sheets across 261 evaluation centres across the state. The evaluation process is expected to be completed by April 2, and results will likely be announced in the last week of April, confirms UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh.

The checking of papers is being monitored at multiple levels — district, divisional and regional. The live feed from all evaluation centres is being transmitted to the control room at the UP Board headquarters and its camp office in Lucknow. The UP Board Class 10 High School examination will be evaluated by 84,122 examiners and 8,437 deputy head examiners. Around 1.63 crore answer sheets will be reviewed during the UP Board 2025 Class 10 result evaluation process. Meanwhile, the Intermediate examination will be assessed by 50,601 examiners and 5,471 deputy head examiners, covering 1.33 crore answer sheets.

This year, the UP Board examinations were conducted across 8,140 centres from February 24 to March 12. A total of 25.56 lakh students appeared for the High School examination, while 25.77 lakh students took the Intermediate examination.

Last year, a total of 29,82,055 students had appeared for the UP Board class 10 exam, of which 22,93,467 students passed. Similarly, 24,52,830 students appeared in UP Board class 12 exams, of which 20,26,067 qualified.

UP Board guidelines for answer sheet evaluation

The Uttar Pradesh Board had earlier released guidelines for the evaluation of students’ answer sheets, which will be conducted at designated evaluation centers from 10 am to 5 pm. To ensure a secure and transparent process, the board has also outlined specific instructions for exam controllers overseeing the evaluation.

UP Board exams 2025: Important instructions for exam controllers

– Install CCTV cameras in all evaluation rooms for continuous monitoring.

– Ensure the presence of all designated examiners under the supervision of the chief examiner.

– Assign examiners based on designated code numbers and appoint additional assistant examiners if required.

– Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the evaluation area.

– Assign responsible personnel at the evaluation center entrance to regulate access.

– Arrange proper seating for examiners and issue identification cards in a timely manner.

– Ensure that all appointed examiners are qualified for the respective subjects.

– Submit daily records of evaluated answer sheets to the controller and the Secondary Education Council.

– Check blank sheets for potential errors.

– Prohibit the use of mobile phones and electronic devices inside the evaluation rooms.

– Require all staff to store their mobile phones securely in a designated area.

– Restrict photography within the evaluation premises.

– Conduct subject-specific batch evaluations and implement dual evaluation for 5% of the answer sheets.

– Maintain cleanliness at the evaluation center and ensure the availability of necessary attendants.
