UGC NET June 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon invite applications for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024. Interested candidates can now apply at the official UGC NET website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
As per the official notice, the last date for online application form of UGC NET is yet to be announced.
What is new in UGC-NET June 2024 session? The candidates who are pursuing Four Year/8 Semester Bachelor’s Degree Programme and are in their last semester/year may also apply for the UGC-NET. The candidates with a Four-Year Bachelor’s Degree Programme are allowed to appear (1/2)

Step 1: Candidates should visit the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Then click on the registration link on the homepage
Step 3: Fill the application form and pay application fee
Step 4: Click on submit to complete the application process
Step 5: Download the completed application form for future reference.
Candidates will be allowed to make corrections in the particulars in online application form after registration closes. The exam centre city and details will be announced after the registration process is completed.
The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in multi shift. It will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. The test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions and candidates will get total three hours duration for both papers which will consists 150 questions.

Last year, as many as 9,45,918 candidates registered and 6,95,928 appeared for the December 2023 exam from 292 cities across the country, which were held between December 6 and December 14 and the result was declared on January 17.
Recently, UGC Chief, M Jagadesh Kumar, announced that starting from the 2024-24 academic session, UGC NET scores can now be used for PhD admissions. The result will be declared in percentile along with the marks obtained by a candidate to utilise the marks for admission to PhD.
