In the TS intermediate exams, a total of 4,82,675 appeared in the first year exams of which 2,97,741 passed taking the pass percentage at 61.68%. While in the IPE second year, 4,65,478 appeared for the exams of which 2,95,550 passed. The pass percentage is 63.49%.

In 2023, the TS Inter exams for the first year commenced on March 15 and for the second year, exams commenced from March 16, 2023. The exams for the first year ended on April 3 and for the second year it ended on April 4, 2023.

The TS Inter practical exams for both General and Vocational Courses were held from February 15 till March 2, 2023 in two sessions – morning session from 9 am to 12 pm and the evening session from 2 pm to 5 pm.

In 2022, 4,64,892 students appeared for the TS Inter first-year exam, of which 2,94,378 candidates passed. A total of 4,42,895 students appeared in class 12 or second-year exam and 2,97,458 candidates passed the exam. The result was declared on June 28. In 2022, girls had an overall pass percentage of 72.33 per cent, while boys had a pass percentage of 54.25 per cent. The exams were held from May 7 to May 24, 2022.

In 2021, class 12 board exams were cancelled by the Telangana government due to Covid-19 and all the 4.5 lakh registered students were promoted.
