The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) are one of the country’s premier management institutions known for their teaching, research and interaction with industries. These IIMs provide various flagship and executive courses to the shortlisted candidates who crack the Common Admission Test (CAT).
Apart from these courses, these IIMs have also started some certificate or short-duration courses for experienced candidates having requisite educational qualifications along with working experience. For the academic session 2025, we have compiled some of the week-long courses, and demand more than one lakh from the candidates.
For instance, a course titled ‘Understanding Bhagavad Gita: A Journey Towards Leadership Excellence’ is offered by IIM Ahmedabad (IIM-A). The course starts on January 27 and will end on January 30.
The programme fee for the course is Rs 1,36,000 plus GST, however, the fee structure of the early bird is less that is Rs 1,26,480.
The applicants to the programme should have more than 5 years of work experience, read the website.
Another course from IIM-A, titled ‘Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructuring’ has a programme fee of Rs 1,91,250. The programme will start on February 10 and will conclude on February 15.
This programme is designed for top management personnel who are responsible for charting a company’s growth strategies and senior executives with an identified role in strategy formulation and implementation, business development and finance.
“The target participants may have a business unit, corporate or group level responsibilities,” read a statement from the website.
Other courses for the 2025 academic year which cost exorbitant are ‘Managing Startups’ and ‘Warehouse Design and Management’. The cost of the startup course is Rs 2 lakh while for warehouse designing is Rs 1,70,000, with comparatively less amount for the ‘early bird’.
You might be wondering what is the duration of the course, the managing startup course starts on March 3 and will conclude on March 7, on the other hand, the designing and management course starts on February 10 and ends on February 15.
Now, let’s move on to IIM Lucknow:
As compared to IIM-Ahmedabad, the fee structure for short courses is better and is in the thousands.
A five-day campus course titled ‘Marketing Strategies for Business Success in the Insurance Sector’ has a fee structure of Rs 85,000 for residential candidates, while for non-residential candidates, the cost is Rs 80,000.
Moving to another, the three-day course titled ‘Digital Sales Excellence’, offers Rs 60,000 for residential and Rs 57,000 for non-residential.
A course on ‘Sales & Distribution Management Excellence in Indian Markets’ has a fee structure of Rs 85,000 for residential and Rs 80,000 for non-residential.
Other courses titled, ‘Customer Relationship Management -Emerging Concepts, Strategies, and Tools’ and ‘Digital Marketing: Strategy and Application’ have a programme fee of Rs 60,000 for residential and Rs 57000 for non-residential for both the courses.
