Tripura board announces form fill-up schedule for 2025 TBSE exams

The students who will be appearing in their board examinations as continuing, compartmental, external continuing, single subject, or improvement have to submit their examination forms by January 15.

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE), which will conduct its Madhyamik and Higher Secondary board examinations on February 24 and 25 this year, has announced the schedule for filling out application forms. TBSE said all regular and external candidates will have to submit duly filled-in application forms by the end of January.

The students who will be appearing in their board examinations as continuing, compartmental, external continuing, single subject, or improvement have to submit their examination forms by January 15.

Speaking to reporters at the TBSE headquarters here this afternoon, board secretary Dr Dulal Dey said, “The TBSE board examinations would be conducted from February 24 this year. We have issued a notification over filling up forms in this regard. All regular and external candidates would have to fill up their 7M and 7H examination forms starting from January 10-31 latest by 5 pm on the last date. 1M and 1H forms duly filled up by the candidates would be kept in their respective schools for record.”

The candidates who skipped their IA or practical marks will have to mark their practical section in the application form as ‘A’, the board secretary informed.

However, external candidates wouldn’t have to fill up the IA or practical component and instead, use ‘save’ option for the category and proceed to the payment of fees.

According to the TBSE guidelines, the application forms can be submitted only after tallying verification report with prints of subject marks, practical marks, photographs and ratifying signature from respective head of institutions.

No appeal for changing practical marks in the application forms would be entertained after final submission of the application forms.

Meanwhile, all schools heads would be required to submit duly signed in verification reports of all applications to the education board by 5 PM on February 01.

The Class 12 examinations would begin with English paper followed by Bangla, Hindi, Kokborok, Mizo on February 27, Chemistry and Political Science on March 01, Business Studies, Education and Physics on March 03 while examination for the Accountancy, Biology and History papers would be conducted on March 5.

The Mathematics and Philosophy papers would be conducted on March 7, Economics on March 10, Psychology on March 12, Geography on March 14, Sanskrit, Arabic and Statistics on March 17, Sociology on March 19, Computer Science and Music on March 21 and vocational subject exams would be conducted on March 22.

TBSE Class 10 standard board examinations would commence with English, followed by Bengali/ Kokborok/ Hindi/ Mizo subjects on February 28, exam for the Social Science paper would be held on March 4, Science on March 8, Mathematics (one basic another standard) on March 13 and vocational subject examinations would be held (10 subjects) on March 18.

Similarly, Madrassa Fazil Arts and Theology would begin from February 24 and would continue till March 17 while Madrassa Alim would begin from February 25 and would continue till March 18.

The candidates of Madrassa Alim would appear for English on the first day followed by Language I (Arabic and Bengali) on February 28, Social Science on March 4, Science on March 8, Mathematics on March 13 and Theology on March 18.

The Madrassa theology exam is scheduled to begin with English on February 24 followed by Bengali on February 27, Islamic Studies on March 01, Islamic History on March 03, Theology on March 5 and Arabic on March 17.

In case of Madrassa Fazil Arts, the examinations would begin with English on February 24 followed by Bengali on February 27, Political Science on March 01, Education on March 03, History on March 05, Philosophy on March 7, Economics on March 10 and Arabic on March 17.
