Tamil Nadu SSLC, Plus One Result 2023: Date and Time announced

The class 10 SSLC exams were conducted from April 6 till April 20, 2023 in over 3,986 examination centres across the state. The exams were held from 10:15 AM to 1:15 PM, and an additional ten minutes were given for reading the question paper.

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Exams will announce the Class 10 or SSLC results on May 19 at tnresults.nic.in. Some portals have claimed that the Plus One or TN +1 result will be declared on May 17, and others have claimed that SSLC and +1 results will be announced on May 17.

However, the date has not been confirmed by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Exam (TNDGE) yet. indianexpress.com will update this page once the result dates are confirmed. The TNDGE results are released, every, year, at 9:30 am.

The TN SSLC exams were conducted from April 6 till April 20, 2023 in over 3,986 examination centres across the state. The exams were held from 10:15 AM to 1:15 PM, and an additional ten minutes were given for reading the question paper. Over 10 lakh students appeared for the class 10 examination this year. 

In 2022, class 10 exams were conducted from May 6 till May 30, 2022 and the results were declared on June 20, 2022. The overall pass percentage in class 10 examinations  was 90.07 per cent.  Around 9 lakh students had appeared for the class 10 examinations.  The girls had outshone the boys with a pass percentage of 94.4 per cent. 

In 2021, class 10 exams could not be held due to the devastating Covid-19 wave. The students were evaluated on the basis of an alternative marking scheme. Over 9 lakh students had registered for the exam.

Meanwhile, the School Education Minister, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, today declared the Tamil Nadu Plus Two result, in which 94.03 per cent students cleared the board exams. The board has slightly improved the passing percentage from 93.76 per cent of 2022.
